Shipping & live arrival policy
We ship living plants.
Plants like water, light and stable temperatures. Couriers specialise in none of these.
This page explains how we work together to get them to you safely.
Dispatch Days
Orders containing live plants are normally shipped on Mondays.
If Monday is a public holiday, orders will ship on Tuesday.
We may delay dispatch where necessary to ensure safe transit or operational readiness. If this occurs, your order will ship on the next suitable dispatch day.
For the purposes of this policy, “dispatch” means the parcel has been collected by the courier.
Delivery Time Expectations
Most orders arrive the next working day after courier collection.
Delivery timeframes are determined by the courier and may vary depending on location.
When Your Parcel Arrives
Open the parcel as soon as possible.
Plants are packed to survive transit, not to live in a box.
Delays after delivery are a common cause of issues:
-
parcels left in sun
-
mailboxes heating up
-
brought inside hours later
-
delivered to unattended workplaces
If you will not be available, consider shipping to a location where someone can receive it promptly.
Live Arrival Guarantee
We guarantee plants will arrive alive and in reasonable condition when delivery occurs within the courier’s standard delivery timeframe for your address.
To make a claim:
-
Contact us via email within 2 hours of the courier’s recorded delivery time
-
Provide clear photos
-
Include photos of plants inside the original packaging
If eligible, we will refund or replace affected plants.
Not Covered by the Guarantee
The Live Arrival Guarantee applies only when the parcel is delivered within the courier’s standard delivery timeframe.
It does not apply where plant condition is affected by extended transit time or delivery circumstances outside our control, including:
-
courier delays beyond the standard delivery timeframe
-
missed deliveries
-
redelivery or depot collection
-
parcels left outdoors or unattended
-
opening the parcel significantly after delivery
-
plant melting or transition behaviour after planting
After Planting
Some aquarium plants are grown above water before shipping.
When submerged, they may:
-
melt
-
drop leaves
-
change colour
This is normal biological adaptation. Melting or transition after planting is not covered under the Live Arrival Guarantee.
Shipping Costs
Shipping charges cover packing materials, insulation and courier transport and are non-refundable once dispatched.
